The Saskatoon Fire Department was kept busy late Friday night and early Saturday morning. Fire crews responded to three garage fires within a four hour period.
The first one happened at 207 Avenue W South at around 10:15 p.m. Crews had the fire under control within 10 minutes. That fire is considered suspicious.
The second garage fire happened at 10:30 p.m. behind 428 Avenue E South. In a news release, the fire department says damage was very minimal.
The third fire took place just before 2 a.m. behind 2607 Irvine Avenue in the city’s Nutana Park neighbourhood. That fire was brought under control within 15 minutes. The garage sustained heavy damage.
All three fires are being investigated. The first two fires are considered suspicious and no injuries were reported due to the three fires.
