Pelican Narrows RCMP believe two men died in a fire in that community on Saturday morning.
The call came in at 10:55 a.m. and the house was fully engulfed in flames when officers arrived, followed shortly by the Pelican Narrows Fire Department.
Police believe seven or eight people were inside the home at the time of the fire, two of which were children. RCMP say they were informed that all but two men had gotten out safely.
The Saskatchewan Coroners Service has recovered two bodies from the scene although positive identification has not yet been made.
The fire is not believe to be suspicious and RCMP continue the investigation with the aid of the Saskatchewan Coroners Office and a Provincial Fire Scene Examiner.
