A man is facing charges of possession of stolen property and methamphetamine after being arrested by Saskatoon’s Guns and Gangs Unit.

The crew noticed suspicious activity in a room at about 10 o’clock Wednesday night while checking out a motel in the 600 block of Idylwyld Drive.

Police say a man spotted police while leaving the room and bolted in a car reported stolen from North Battleford.

Officers later arrested the man while walking in the 200 block of 26th Street West.

The van was found a short distance away.
