A First Degree Murder charge has been laid in the shooting death of Andrew Merasty.

A 20-year-old man will also face two weapons charges when he appears in court Friday (this) morning.

The 25-year-old victim was suffering from a gunshot wound when he discovered August 18th in the 18-hundred block of 20th Street West.

Merasty died after being taken to hospital.
