Over 250 grams of Fentanyl powder, 1-thousand grams of methamphetamine, 290 grams of cocaine, and 49 grams of crack cocaine were seized by Saskatoon Police on Saturday, along with $20-thousand in cash, 5 cell phones, scales and packaging consistent with drug trafficking.
Police say members of the Drug Unit arrested a man in the parking lot of the 3-thousand block of Clarence Avenue after witnessing activity consistent with drug trafficking. It’s alleged he tried to take off but his vehicle was stopped and a search warrant was executed at an apartment building in the 100 block of Wellman Crescent in Stonbebridge.
A 25 year old man is facing various drug trafficking charges and possession of proceeds of crime over $5-thousand. Four others, two men 22 and 24 years old and 2 women, 23 and 24, were arrested at Wellman Crescent and are facing similar charges.
