Two women were arrested over the weekend after being found in possession, according to police, of a mass amount of mail.
Around 4:30 in the afternoon on Sunday, officers pulled over a vehicle at 29th Street West and Avenue J North, because the car had no licence plate.
Police say the vehicle was stolen and they located multiple bags inside with hundreds of pieces of opened mail which included identification documents and none of that mail belonged to the two women in the vehicle.
Police also seized break and enter tools and a can of pepper spray.
A 24 year old Saskatoon woman and a 32 year old woman from Beardy’s First Nation are facing 25 charges and due to the large amount of evidence to sift through the investigation is ongoing.
