Prince Albert ratepayers will see a 2.9 percent increase on their municipal tax bills in 2020.

City Council approved the budget Monday night by a narrow 5-4 vote.

Councillors who opposed the budget were Charlene Miller, Dennis Nowoselsky, Evert Botha and Terra Lennox-Zepp.

On homes assessed at 350-thousand dollars that means increases of $63.84 a year or $5.32 a month.
