The Everett Silvertips may have won 5-0 Saturday in Medicine Hat, but all they did was make the Tigers angry!
The Bengals ended a goal-less streak at 89:10 when former Blade Cyle McNabb scored just 2:45 into Tuesday’s game. That started an avalanche of goals as Medicine Hat raked Saskatoon by an 11-3 score before 2,632 fans at SaskTel Centre. McNabb ended up with three goals and an assist against the team that traded him to the Tigers two weeks ago. The Bengals scored the first six goals of the game, five of them in the first period, and led 8-2 after 40 minutes on the way to extending their road winning streak to four games and improving their overall record to 21-8-1. Overage Medcine Hat centre James Hamblin collected five assists to take over the W-H-L scoring lead by one point over Dylan Cozens of Lethbridge. Captain Chase Wouters scored a pair of power play goals for the Bridge City Bunch while Jayden Wiens added the other tally as the Blue and Gold dropped to 14-14-3 for the season. They get their chance to avenge a tough loss Friday when they host the B-C Division-leading Kamloops Blazers. Following is the official game summary from the W-H-L…
