Just before 11:30 Friday night, Regina Police responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 700 block of McDonald Street.
In a news release, police say their initial investigation indicates that a vehicle struck the back end of an industrial truck that was stopped southbound at the Ross Avenue intersection.
The driver of the vehicle, a 36 year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The passenger, a 39 year-old man was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. Next of kin has been notified and anyone with information is asked to contact the RPS.
The investigation is continuing.
