Regina Police responded to a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian on Ring Road Friday evening.

Shortly after 8 p.m., police were dispatched to the westbound lanes of Ring Road between Arcola Avenue and Wascana Parkway.

EMS transported the pedestrian to hospital with serious injuries.

The westbound lanes were closed for a few hours following the incident, although the road has since re-opened.
