The Canadian Real Estate Association has had a look at sales across Canada and has determined that in our province, there is still an oversupply of homes relative to demand. That means sales negotiations remain tilted in favour of the buyer. Home price trends have generally been stabilizing on the prairies, including Saskatoon. However prices in Regina continue to move lower. Looking into next year, average price trends are expected to see small declines in both Alberta and Saskatchewan.
