Peter Stoicheff will remain as President of the University of Saskatchewan for a second five-year term. He received unanimous approval from the Board of Governors who were acting on the recommendation of the Review Committee for the President. It is effective July first of next year. Stoicheff was officially installed as the 11th President in October of 2015. Some highlights of his leadership include: Increasing the university’s reputation as a national and global research leader, building Indigenous engagement, and launching the University Action Plan 2025.
