Just before the lunch hour Saturday, the Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a three vehicle collision at 8th Street and Cumberland Avenue.

The first engine arrived on scene in less than four minutes.

Once firefighters verified that there were no trapped or severely injured occupants, the second responding engine was called off while on route so that traffic was not unnecessarily disrupted.

Crews ensured there were no hazards before cleaning up the debris.

The SFD reminds motorists to continue to drive safe and consider increased caution when passing emergency workers.
