The Premier of Saskatchewan calls the 2020 election a choice between two parties with completely different policies.
Scott Moe says the SaskParty will continue to work toward economic and financial independence for the province noting they balanced the budget, while the NDP is focused on running deficits.
The premier also claims the opposition will tax the industries and individuals that drive the Saskatchewan economy while the SaskParty will stand up for them.
Moe also feels the federal political landscape has changed with the Liberal minority in Ottawa and looks forward to working within different dynamics.
He says 2020 will be exciting after a year in which two new hospitals opened in the province.
Moe believes the new Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon and Saskatchewan Hospital in North Battleford will mean better services for children, psychiatric patients and their families.
He calls their openings the biggest achievements of the provincial government during 2019.
The premier notes there have been construction problems with the North Battleford facility but pledges they will be solved sooner rather than later.
