The City of Saskatoon has six different drop-off locations for your natural Christmas tree. Amber Weckworth, Education and Environmental Performance Manager with the City of Saskatoon says the Lawson Heights recycling depot, the Lawson Heights recycling depot, the Meadowgreen recycling depot, the George Ward Pool, Wildwood Golf Course and the Doukhobor Society parking lot are the places where you can drop-off your tree. Weckworth says the 6 locations are now open until the end of January. For wrapping paper, Weckworth says if you can rip it, it’s recyclable. She says you can either put it in you Loraas bin or take it to one of the City’s four recycling depots.
