Saskatoon Police say a 38 year old man was shot and taken to hospital, and the injury is serious.
The call came in Saturday morning around 5:40 a.m. from a home in the 200 block of Waterloo Crescent in the city’s East College Park neighbourhood.
When officers arrived they also found several people suffering the effects of bear spray.
Witnesses told responding officers that several people dressed in red entered the home and began spraying bear spray before the shooting took place. Those involved then fled the scene in a white SUV.
Police say, in a search of the home, they seized approximately 21 grams of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a knife.
