An autopsy will be conducted Monday in Saskatoon on 19 year old Zellall Highway and a 19 year old man is in Prince Albert court Monday facing charges in connection to the case.

Prince Albert RCMP say they were alerted to an assault just after midnight on Boxing Day and when they arrived at the Wahpeton Dakota Nation Health Centre, they found a 17 year old girl who had been injured.

Officers went to the home on the Wahpeton Dakota Nation where the assault had allegedly occurred and found Zellall Highway with life threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the local clinic.

Nathan Waditaka is charged with 2nd Degree Murder, Aggravated Assault and Sexual Assault.
