La Loche RCMP have their man. On Sunday morning they located 32 year old Colin Evan Lemaigre in a La Loche home and arrested him without incident.

Lemaigre was wanted in connection to an incident December 21st where a constable who had pulled over a vehicle on the highway south of La Loche, was dragged, when the vehicle suddenly sped away.

The Constable was treated at the hospital and released after being injured in the incident.

Lemaigre was in La Loche provincial court on Monday facing charges of assaulting a peace officer with a weapon, fail to stop when pursued by police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and obstruct a peace officer.
