Regina Police are investigating the death of a man found inside a burned out home.

Police were called to the scene of the house fire on the 15-hundred block of Cameron Street at about 9:30 Tuesday morning and found the body inside.

The Major Crimes Unit, Fire investigators, the Forensics Identification Unit and Coroner are part of the investigating team.

An autopsy is scheduled for next week.

A 17-year-old boy has now been charged in a Christmas Day standoff in Regina.

Police arrested several people after they surrendered from a home on the 12-hundred block of Rae Street following several hours of negotiations. The SWAT team also took another into custody after going into the residence.

Officers were told many armed suspects knocked on the door of one home demanding money but were unable to get in but do go into a nearby residence shortly after.

The boy who is charged with armed robbery will appear in court February 24th.
