A 40 year-old man is facing multiple weapons-related charges following a vehicle stop in Prince Albert Wednesday night. Police located a vehicle with non-matching license plate around 10 p.m. in 200 block of 12th Street East. Upon further investigation, police found a machete, a can of bear spray, a small amount of methamphetamine and pills used to treat partial seizures along with two small pocket knifes.
Prince Albert Police are also investigating a report of a break and enter at a home on 3rd Avenue North West. On Tuesday night just after 8 p.m., the homeowners contacted police reporting that unknown suspects had gained entry into their home and that a number of items including a Winchester rifle, a watch and loose change were taken. Police are continuing to investigate.
