At 1 a.m. Saturday morning, Battlefords RCMP received a complaint of an armed robbery at a business in the 1700 block of 100th Street in North Battleford.
In a news release, police say a lone male entered the business brandishing a weapon and demanded money from the employee.
After obtaining the demanded cash, the suspect fled the business running westbound across 100th Street towards 99th Street.
The suspect is described as tall, thin, wearing a black short sleeved jacket and a grey hoodie underneath along with black jeans and black shoes.
RCMP are requesting that those in the area check their surveillance video between 12:30 and 1:30 a.m. Saturday to see if they captured the suspect on camera.
