Boston Bilous went from undisputed starter with the Prince Albert Raiders in the second half of 2019 to being Moose Jaw-bound a week into 2020.
P-A dealt the 18-year-old goaltender to the Warriors Tuesday for a fifth round Bantam Draft pick in 2020 and a seventh round choice in 2021. Acquired at the trade deadline last year from Edmonton, Bilous posted a 15-9-5 record this season with the Raiders, a 2.66 goals against-average and an .887 save percentage. The move leaves Prince Albert with 19-year-old Keegan Karki…picked up last Friday from Everett…and 17-year-old Saskatoon product Carter Serhyenko as the goaltending duo. Raiders Trade Bilous To Warriors
Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired a fifth-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft and a seventh-round pick in the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft in exchange for 2001-born goaltender Boston Bilous.
Bilous, a product of Langley, BC, was acquired by the Raiders at last year’s WHL Trade Deadline from the Edmonton Oil Kings. This season, he has a 15-9-4-1 record with a 2.58 goals-against average and a 0.889 save percentage in 32 appearances.
During his time with the Raiders, Bilous played in 41 games with a 20-9-5-1 record to go with a 2.66 goals-against average and a 0.887 save percentage.
