Digital Magazine Vacay.ca is out with its 20 best places to travel in Canada for 2020. Banff is in top spot. Saskatoon is the only place in Saskatchewan that the magazine deems worthy of mention. We came in at 16. The magazine used concern for the environment as its driver for who is on the list. Banff makes it to the top because of its commitment to reduce food waste, encourage sustainable consumer choices, and maintain the pristine conditions of the park. Adrian Brijbassi, Vacay’s managing editor says, “The travel industry is increasingly affected by consumers’ attachment to climate health and we believe consideration for the planet will significantly influence vacation choices in 2020 and beyond.”
