Prince Albert Police are asking the public for information in regards to a serious aggravated assault and attempted robbery with a firearm that took place Friday night.

Around 7:20, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of 11th Street East.

Once police arrived, they found the victim suffering from serious injuries as a result of an attempted robbery. Parkland Ambulance attended to the scene and the male was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Police are asking residents in the area to check any surveillance video they may have in an attempt to assist in identifying those involved in the incident.

The first suspect is described as a man between the ages of 20 and 25, approximately 5 foot 9 or 5 foot 10, slim build, wearing a black winter coat with fur around the hoodie and blue jeans. The second suspect is only described as being a female.
