Plows, graders and sanders will be out in full force Sunday in Saskatoon after more than five centimeters of snow fell on the city.
The City of Saskatoon says 22 graders are out cleaning priority streets including 8th Street, Idylwyld Drive, 22nd Street and College Drive.
The City adds 6 high-speed plows are focused on clearing Circle Drive. 10 sanders will be out applying salt and sand at intersections, bridge decks and other high traffic areas.
The City advises motorists to slow down given that many streets, bridge decks, freeway ramps and overpasses may be icy and snow packed in places and to keep an eye out for blue and amber flashing lights on road equipment.
