Due to the extremely cold weather today, all school bus routes and charters are cancelled for the day for Saskatoon Public Schools.
Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools bus service on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, has been cancelled for elementary school students (pre-kindergarten – Grade 8) in Saskatoon, Warman and Martensville; high school students from Martensville and Warman who get bused to Bishop James Mahoney High School; and intensive-needs high school buses in Saskatoon.
The Prairie Spirit School Division has posted on their website that with the combined wind chill and temperature as per Environment Canada at 6 a.m. was -44 degrees in Saskatoon and -37 degrees in Prince Albert, so only buses in Duck Lake, Blaine Lake and Leask will run today. However, they will not use wheelchair lifts.
Sunwest School division buses in Kenaston are also not running today.
Witchekan Lake First Nation School is closed today. No buses are running and there will be no students or staff in the building.
