While attending an accident on Idylwyld Drive near 8th Street, a vehicle went through a police barrier, but no one was injured. Emergency crews responded around noon (Tues) to a single vehicle accident where a pickup truck rolled onto its side. The driver, who was the lone occupant, was issued a ticket for driving without due care and attention.
Saskatoon Police say traffic restrictions were in place for the investigation and for clearing the scene when and it’s alleged a passing vehicle failed to slow down and drove right through the barrier. The driver’s windshield was being obstructed by snow and ice, leading to charges of driving with an obstructed windshield and disobeying officer commands.
