A 22 year-old man has been arrested by Saskatoon Police and now faces an attempted murder charge following an incident in the 1000 block of Avenue J South Saturday morning.

Just after 4:30, officers responded to an unknown problem call and they arrived on scene to find a 35 year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was taken to hospital and is listed in stable condition.

The Street Crime Unit is continuing to investigate. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police or Crime Stoppers.
