Saskatoon Police were called to a home in the 1300 block of Avenue B North at 4 o’clock Sunday for a domestic complaint.

Once officers arrived, they attempted to take a male into custody for assault. Police say in a news release that he became uncooperative and aggressive towards officers.

That’s when police deployed a taser. This allowed police to take the 31 year-old into custody without any further trouble.

The man faces a number of charges including assault of a police officer and domestic assault.

He will appear before a Justice of the Peace Sunday.
