Over 600 special guests will be in attendance for SaskTel’s Be Kind Online Pink and White Game at this year’s SJHL/MJHL showcase in Regina.
Wednesday’s 10:15 a.m. broadcast on SaskTel Max will have students from seven schools in Regina in attendance who will then have lunch after the game before taking in the annual bully prevention rally.
This year, students will take in a presentation from RCMP Corporal Sean Chiddenton about cyber bullying.
Tim Jones, a spokesperson with SaskTel says the SJHL was interested in expanding their partnership with the telecommunications corporation to include SaskTel’s Be Kind Online initiative.
Jones says SaskTel is the official broadcaster of the SJHL on Max TV with the SJHL showcase game of the week.
He adds the partnership with the SJHL for the Be Kind Online Pink and White Game is a good fit for SaskTel.
The marks the first Be Kind Online Pink and White game. Typically they host their annual bully prevention rally at a school in the province, although this year, they’re hosting it in conjunction with the hockey showcase at Regina’s Co-operators Centre.
