A Saskatoon man knew his ticket was a winner, but didn’t realize it was a million-dollar winner.
Marcel Lacoursiere thought the LOTTO MAX quick-pick for draws from October 22nd to January 14th was only worth 10-thousand dollars and learned of the extra zero’s after double-checking with the store clerk.
Lacoursiere had been playing lotteries together with friends Ron Thompson and Aaron Bond for almost 20 years.
All three says they are going to share their windfall with family and charities while also putting away some money for the future.
