Third time proved to be the charm for Polina Bespalova (pictured, centre)!
The second year Kiniesiology student at the U of Saskatchewan captured the women’s Junior National CrossFit Championships in Edmonton over the weekend. Bespalova was competing in her third junior nationals, but was able to live up to her top ranking going into the event. CrossFit competitions are made up of eight different disciplines or exercises. Bespalova is the first Saskatchewan woman to win a Junior National CrossFit title in over a decade. She did so by a wide margin, breaking four provincial records in the process.
