The Regina Police Service has begun an investigation into the death of a man at a home in the 500 block of Wascana Street early Friday morning. He was pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later.

Police got the call at 1:29 a.m. to a report of a man injured at that location. Police attempted emergency first aid until paramedics arrived. The victim was pronounced deceased at 1:41 a.m.

Regina Police say the death investigation has been undertaken in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. Anyone with information is asked to contact Regina Police or Crime Stoppers. (vmf Jan 24/20)
