Saskatoon RCMP say one person has died and three people were seriously injured in a two vehicle collision on Highway 41 south of Aberdeen.

A 67 year old woman who was a passenger in a southbound pick up truck was pronounced deceased at the scene while the 74 year old man driving was taken to hospital.

A 34 year old man driving the northbound truck was also taken to hospital while a four year old child in the truck was air lifted via STARS.

Highway 41, which was closed when the accident happened around 6:15 p.m. Thursday, for the duration of the investigation by Collision Reconstructionists, is now open.
