The city says it has reached a tentative agreement with CUPE Local 59. It’s a 4.5 year deal, expiring on June 30th 2023. Ratification begins the first week of February. Details of the package won’t be released until that’s finished. CUPE local 59 is the city’s largest collective bargaining unit. Members work at a variety of locations including City Hall, Golf Courses, Libraries, the Police Station, Fire Halls, and SaskTel Centre.
