After Unifor’s national president stated on Wednesday that they would be ready to negotiate and suggested meeting at 10 a.m. today, at which time all the barricades and court orders would be followed, and it seems Federated Cooperatives Limited is answering that call.
A news release from FCL says the 2 sides will resume formal bargaining discussions on Friday.
The employer says the meeting will be held based on the mutual understanding that the union will follow the court injunction order, allowing all vehicles in and out of the Co-op Refinery Complex, including all CRC gates, the business office and McDonald Street Terminal.
