One of the many great U of S men’s volleyball stars over the years has been honoured with induction into the Canada West Hall-of-Fame.
Adam Ens did it all on behalf of the Huskies between 1999 and 2004, including finishing off his career by scoring the game winning point for the Dogs in the 2004 C-I-S final. Ens was named the B-L-G Award winner as top male athlete in all of C-I-S that year as well. Needless to say, the Rosthern product was a several time C-I-S All-Canadian and Canada West Conference first team all-star as well as the Canada West rookie of the year. National Champion Ens enters CW Hall of Fame

EDMONTON – Adam Ens concluded his stellar varsity volleyball career at the University of Saskatchewan in the greatest way possible: scoring the winning point for the Huskies in the 2004 CIS final.
The Huskie standout was announced Thursday as the latest inductee in the Canada West Hall of Fame.
A native of Rosthern, Sask., Ens spent five seasons with the Huskies, with his final season in 2003-04 leading to some major hardware.
Ens won the BLG Award as the top male student-athlete in Canada, while also claiming the CIS Men’s Volleyball Player of the Year award.
Overall the Huskies won three conference titles during Ens’ time with the program, in 2000, 2001, and 2004. He was a standout in the classroom as well, being named an academic All-Canadian four times, while earning degrees in both Science and Education.
