Since the last the Saskatoon Blades played Moose Jaw on November 17…a 4-0 shutout win for the Bridge City Bunch…the Warriors have fallen on hard times.
Including that November 17 setback at SaskTel Centre, Moose Jaw is 3-22-1…and have lost their last eight home games. The Blue and Gold are making their first of three visits to Mosaic Place Friday night.
Koen MacInnes is set to make a 10th straight start in goal for the Blades…if need be! Veteran starter Nolan Maier is awaiting word whether he has the green light to return to action after missing most of January with a Lower Body injury. In the interim, 17-year-old rookie MacInnes has posted a 6-2-1 record, a goals against average of 2.42 and a .911 save percentage.
Friday’s broadcast from Moose Jaw starts at 6 on 98-COOL with the Sardinia Family Restaurant pre-game show and the play-by-play at 7 o’clock.
