A 47 year old man has been charged by Regina Police with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference involving a 13 year old girl. Usually, in cases involving child victims, police don’t name the accused because of the chance of identifying the victim. In fact, news releases are infrequent when the victim is a child, for that very reason. But police are identifying this suspect, Antoine James Quewezance because, while he is acquainted with the girl, he is not related. He has been released on a recognizance. His first court appearance is set for March 11th.
