The Tobacco and Vaping Products Control Act goes into effect on Saturday. Among other things, the act will: Restrict the sale of devices and products to people 18 years and older, Prohibit the display of products in a retail business where young people have access, restrict the use of products in and around public buildings to the same degree as tobacco legislation, restrict advertising, and provide the ability to restrict the sale of flavoured tobacco and vaping products. The province says the aim is to protect Saskatchewan youth from risks associated with vaping.
