RCMP are treating the death of a 17 year-old boy on the Star Blanket First Nation as a homicide.

File Hills Police responded to a residence Friday night for a report of an altercation.

Police say they discovered the 17 year-old dead inside the home where he lived.

An autopsy is scheduled to take place Tuesday in Saskatoon. Police say there is no risk to the public.

The investigation is continuing.
