Just after 1:30 Sunday morning, La Ronge RCMP responded to a complaint of shot fired from a vehicle in a residential area.

Police say in a news release, the vehicle, described as a silver pick-up truck, left the area near the 100 block of Wapos Avenue heading westbound.

Not too long after, police located the vehicle and arrested two men without incident. Officers located a firearm and ammunition from the truck.

A 28 year-old Regina man and a 30 year-old man from La Ronge are facing a number of charges including careless use of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Both are set to appear in court Monday.
