A baby girl decided to make her debut into the world on the University Bridge this morning (Tues) at 7:04.
Medavie Health Services says paramedics had to make an emergency delivery while en route to Royal University Hospital.
Both mom and the baby girl are healthy and doing okay.
Spokesperson, Troy Davies says it’s not often babies are delivered in the back of their ambulances, so it was a pretty special day for the paramedics who were on the call.
As part of maintaining their licenses, paramedics have to be recertified in childbirth every year.
