Communities across the province will be competing over a 10-day period to record the most physical activity minutes.
Those who sign-up by Friday’s deadline will be competing from March 1st through the 10th to record the most minutes in the Saskatchewan Blue Cross Go Out and Play Challenge by Saskatchewan in motion.
The winner will receive the grand prize of $10 thousand dollars to go towards a project that gets kids and families out to play.
Kim Herperger with in motion says last year, Pilot Butte won with more than 480 thousand minutes logged.
The money went towards the community’s spray park project.
So far, Herperger says entries are where they expected them to be with three days left before the deadline.
