On January 23rd, there was a fatal two-vehicle accident on Highway 41 south of Aberdeen and Saskatoon RCMP have now laid charges.
Police reported at the time of the accident a 74 year old man who was driving a southbound pickup was transported to hospital with serious injuries and the 67 year old woman who was a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 4 year old passenger in the northbound truck was transported to hospital by STARS and the 34 year old man driving was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
The 34 year old has been arrested and is facing 10 charges that include impaired driving causing death and 2 counts of impaired driving causing bodily harm, driving over .08 causing death, and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
He is scheduled to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court tomorrow (Fri) morning at 9.
