What began as an awards night for the Saskatoon Chefs’ Association has become an evening of music, theatre and the best food that Saskatoon has to offer.
The proceeds support independent arts groups who are performing at the event – Live Five Independent Theatre, Little Opera On the Prairie and the Ritornello Chamber Music Festival.
The Chefs’ Gala & Showcase also fosters a new generation of chefs with students from Saskatchewan Polytechnic working alongside some of Saskatoon’s top chefs.
The theme for the entertainment is the soap opera, complete with love triangles, amnesia and evil twins.
The Gala is Saturday night at the World Trade Centre at Prairieland Park.
