The Saskatoon Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1900 Block of 22nd Street West at about 2:40 this morning [fri]. They found flames and black smoke coming from the rear of the house. Fire fighters initially removed plywood from the windows and attacked the blaze from there. The fire was quickly brought under control. There were no occupants. A Fire Investigator is on scene to determine a cause and a damage estimate. There were no injuries.
