A Saskatoon-born, internationally known, award-winning pianist, who also happens to be a periodontist with a practise in Calgary and is the father of 2 young boys, is coming home to perform with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra on Saturday night.
Thomas Yu will be performing a piano concerto that earn him a gold at an international competition in 2016.
Yu says it’s technically difficult and has all the fireworks and emotion that a masterpiece should have.
