A 56 year old man is in Swift Current Provincial Court today (mon) after being arrested Sunday on child porn charges.

Robert Scott Ackert of Chaplin is charged with Possession of Child Pornography and Accessing Child Pornography.

Morse RCMP say the investigation begin late last year and on November 29th, 2019, a search warrant was executed at a home in Chaplin. Several computers and digital storage devices were seized and have undergone forensic analysis by the Regina Technological Crime Unit and the Saskatchewan Integrated Child Exploitation Unit.
