Because there are no more ties in the W-H-L, either the Saskatoon Blades or Brandon Wheat Kings will hold sole possession of third place in the East Division following their clash Wednesday night at SaskTel Centre.
Both teams have 59 points in the standings. It’s been more than three months since the last tilt between the Bridge City Bunch and the Wheaties. Both teams are only six points back of the first place Prince Albert Raiders! P-A is idle while Winnipeg, just four points ahead of the Blue and Gold and Brandon in second place, are in Swift Current Wednesday.
And, just to make things a little more interesting, the Blades and Wheat Kings will meet again Friday in Brandon.
